There are so many used car dealer ships out there who offer websites to view their inventory. After going through many different sites I found that there autotrader.ca & carpages.ca are the best used car sites to visit. I will never forget buying my first car!

The story behind my first car is a hilarious compilation of ups and downs! It’s something I will never forget.

The first car that I bought was a 2001 Audi A6, and it was a fantastic used car, one of the best I’ve ever had. But me being a young teenager, I decided to buy the car as a manual which was a huge mistake as I’ve never driven manual prior to this vehicle. So after driving it home with my Dad all I wanted to do was pick up my friends and show it off to them. So when I finally left the house I was driving and there was a bunch of traffic, my dad kept telling me to be careful while driving manual as it can be very dangerous if you mess up, but I didn’t listen and was confident in my “driving skills.” So after about ten minutes of driving, and a whole bunch of mess-ups with the gear shifting, I was making a left turn and while I was in the middle of the turn I messed up the clutch and the car stopped in the middle of the road while turning. I immediately panicked and had to turn on my blinkers and get someone to help me move it out of the way of the road. I was too scared to call my dad about this, so I started to try to fix this myself and called my friend to help me out, luckily the same problem had happen to him and he told me to unplug the battery and re-plug it then try turning on the engine, which worked! It’s something I will never forget and thanks to that I was more careful while driving manual.

Where can I find a cheap car to get me from A to B?

What’s the best used car to get as a temporary vehicle that?
My car recently broke down about five days ago, and I’m still saving enough money for a Dodge Charger, but It’s going to take me another eight or nine months to gather enough money for that car, so I was wondering what’s a cheap used car that I can purchase and can drive with no problems for the next few months? I’m not looking for anything in specific just something that can drive me from point A to B with ease. I would prefer a used car as I’m only going to have it for a few months and then re-sell it to someone. Do you guys have any recommendations? And let me know your experience with the car that you recommend like if it was a cheap first car that you purchased.

Do you guys drive for style or just to get from point A to B?

The Best First Car

Buying my first car was a disaster; I was looking for a cheap car and didn’t look for durability and reliability. That’s why I’m going to show you what I believe the best first car is.
Today, I’m going to write a review on the best car I’ve ever had and a car that I would say is the best first car. Many of you may agree with me when I say that the Honda Civic is an ideal first car, especially for a student or young adult. Why you may ask? The Honda civic stands out from other cars in its class, it’s very spacious inside for its size, has a smooth transition and easy drive, and one of the best fuel economies with other competitors in its market.
The 2015 Honda Civic has an outstanding four-cylinder engine that test drivers say has plenty of power for its size. A five-speed manual transition is standard while automatic drive is optional and recommended for new drivers, at the same price. The standar
d 2015 civic gets 30/mpg (miles per gallon) while driving in the city and 39/mpg while driving on the highway.
The civics front and rear seats are very spacious and feel comfortable and natural for a car of its size and can easily fit the driver plus four additional passengers. It’s also good to note that visibility while driving is also very good and comfortable. The 2015 model comes standard with Bluetooth audio and hands free phone dialing, a rear-view camera, USB and AUX ports. Optional features include leather seats, passenger blind spot camera, Navigation/Audio display system, that feels natural and responsive.

After nine generations, the civic is still today’s top compact cars and it’s not ready to stop just yet. While competition in the smaller car market is rising, with the Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus and the Kia Forte. Honda civic still is the most common choice for today’s young drivers as it is much more customizable then the competition. It’s easy to say that the Honda Civic is a great first car. How do you feel about the new 2015 Honda Civic?

How to find the best deal for car insurance!

Car insurance is mandatory nowadays when driving your own vehicle. It’s important that you have effective car insurance, but make sure you’re not paying too much!

When I first started driving, I was paying way too much for car insurance, since student car insurance tends to be quite expensive. These are the top things I find on how to find and maintain the cheapest car insurance. Firstly, you want to make sure you have a clean driving record. Accidents and convictions can stay on your driving record for years to come. It’s the primary thing companies look for when you’re buying insurance from them. Always make sure you’re shopping around different companies. Plenty of consumers believe that all companies charge the same rate for insurance, this is not true. Rates vary significantly from company to company. All these companies consider the area in which you live, the type of car that you are driving and how long you have had your licence. But all companies have different policies for their claims and loss experiences. One important factor is known as “The Porsche factor” this means that the car that you drive significantly changes your rates. Newer cars cost more to insure than older cars, and sports cars, such as the Porsche cost more than family cars like the Dodge Caravan and a sedan like the Civic. These companies also look at the statistics that the type of car has on theft, safety and history. Always make sure you’re asking for a discount, the worse they can say is no and your left with the original price. Lastly, ensure that you have taken the drivers training course. This can significantly reduce the cost of insurance as companies do look for this!

What should your used car cost?

Car prices can be very deceptive, especially when buying a used car. Make sure you know the value of a car before purchasing!

The most obvious thing you need to know about the cost of the used car is its retail price, always ensure that you know how much a brand new version of that car costs before purchasing and looking at the used car prices. You want to ensure that you are saving enough to make it worth buying it used.
As consumer reports stated “If you are buying it from a private seller, you can usually expect to pay a somewhat lower price. Retail is also considerably higher than the price you’ll receive for your trade-in because it includes a profit margin for the dealership.” (Consumerreports.org)
Also if you want to find the average price of a used car you can check websites such as Usedcars.com and AutoTrader.com. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re buying the car online; these fantastic websites can be used as a margin for what you should be paying for the vehicle you’re buying.

Top 3 Best Used Car qualities to look for as a student

Lead Paragraph: Being a student and buying a used car is not realistic. Here are 3 used car qualities I recommend for students looking to make their commute to school a little easier.

Body Paragraph: Many families or students can't afford to buy their teens top of line cars that offer the newest and best safety innovations on the market. I'm going to share with you the top 3 used car qualities to look for when buying your teens car.
As a student who owns a used car there are always arguments between wants and needs but remember we are students with limited money, so we are going to focus on qualities of used car for a student's needs .  1. Safety, is number when looking for a car for a student. Young drivers like to test the limits of speed, buying a car with high horsepower is only going to tempt the drive to use it. You want to look for a feature called ESC this is to help keep control of the car in slippery weather conditions.   2. Gas, when you think safety you think  big cars I don't suggest buying a bigger car because this is only going to lead to more gas money. Student are already under tight budgets and don't want to be putting in $60 of gas every week. 3. Insurance, Last but not least is paying for insurance. Insurance is a monthly payment that changes drastically depending on the car you are driving. Insurance is a high payment for teens and is a huge reason why more students don't own used cars. The colour of car, the number of doors, the amount of horsepower all affect the  monthly insurance rate you pay. Always look into what it's going to cost you to drive your used car per month before purchasing it.

End Paragraph: What kind of car did you drive as a student? How much did it cost you on average to drive per month? Can you recommend any cars?

What to look for when buying a used car

Lead Paragraph- There can be a lot of things that can go wrong that you may not notice when buying your used car. We’re going to make sure that it doesn’t happen!
Body: I’ve received many questions asking “What to look for when buying a used car” and it’s time to post it here on this blog. There are plenty of things that can go wrong when you’re buying a used car. A few things that you want to look for is ensuring that the car is in proper form, this means that you should look at the car at a ground level to ensure that there is nothing wrong with the tires or anything sagging on the car. Second, you want to look at the paint job of the car. There’s nothing worse than purchasing a car and when you get home you realize that there are plenty of scratches on the door, or at the bottom of the car. Also look for dents and rust, they can be very difficult to find at times. This one is very important and often overlooked. Always look under the hood for any indication of damage, rust or dents. That can be a big sign that this car wasn’t taken care of properly by its previous owner, also try to bring a friend or family along that knows a lot about cars so he/she can assist you in finding damages with the engine or the car itself. Also ensure that the air conditioning is working, I’ve heard plenty of stories where the air conditioner stops working after purchasing it so be very careful of that. Make sure you check the odometer for the mileage on the car, sometimes the previous owner can try to make the car sound more appealing by saying the mileage is lower than it actually is.  Lastly always try to read used car reviews online on the car that you’re purchasing to see how long the car can last and how expensive repairs for it can be.

Has anything bad happen to you when you purchased your used car?
