Here is the story of my first car

Here is the story of my first car

I'll never forget when I got my first car. Getting home from school and seeing it in the drive way, getting in it and starting it, then realizing I don't know how to drive it...
My first car was a 2003 Honda Accord with a V-tec engine. Black four door with leather seats and a sunroof. It was beyond what I imaged my first car to be. Oh and how could I forget it came with low profile rims, I thought it was so cool. The one thing I was
forgetting, it was a manual transmission something I had no idea how to drive. It was a nice summer day and I couldn't even take my first car out for a drive around the block. If that wasn't bad enough I had my friends messaging me to come pick them up or drive them to school and all I could do was say "sorry dude, I don't know how to drive my car". I spent hours on hours in a parking lot by my house teaching myself how to drive a manual car. I got so frustrated with it I wanted to just resell it for an automatic. Even when I got comfortable enough to drive it on the streets I still would stall it, leaving me frustrated and embarrassed. At the end of the day I'll never regret learning how to drive stick on my first car. It is a skill I could use later in life and now I'm able to drive any car I get into. I wish I could say I still have that car but let's be real, I drove that car to the junk yard. Taking it to high RPM's and not taking care of it, my first car only lasted me 3 years. My first car was a huge learning experience for me and something I will always remember.

Best web link for cheap first cars!

Best Web Links for Cheap Cars

Everyone's first concern about buying a used car is "am i getting ripped off"? Many people worry if they are paying too much or they are worried that they are paying to less and are not getting the quality of car they want.

There are so many used car dealer ships out there who offer websites to view their inventory. After going through many different sites I found that there autotrader.ca & carpages.ca are the best used car sites to visit. Both sites are very user friendly and offer a verity of options to break down their site and focus on cars that best suit your personal needs and finance budget.  Also the sites (carpages.ca & autotrader.ca) offer in-depth reviews, latest news in the industry, and advertisement for private sellers.

I will never forget buying my first car!

The story behind my first car is a hilarious compilation of ups and downs! It’s something I will never forget.

The first car that I bought was a 2001 Audi A6, and it was a fantastic used car, one of the best I’ve ever had. But me being a young teenager, I decided to buy the car as a manual which was a huge mistake as I’ve never driven manual prior to this vehicle. So after driving it home with my Dad all I wanted to do was pick up my friends and show it off to them. So when I finally left the house I was driving and there was a bunch of traffic, my dad kept telling me to be careful while driving manual as it can be very dangerous if you mess up, but I didn’t listen and was confident in my “driving skills.” So after about ten minutes of driving, and a whole bunch of mess-ups with the gear shifting, I was making a left turn and while I was in the middle of the turn I messed up the clutch and the car stopped in the middle of the road while turning. I immediately panicked and had to turn on my blinkers and get someone to help me move it out of the way of the road. I was too scared to call my dad about this, so I started to try to fix this myself and called my friend to help me out, luckily the same problem had happen to him and he told me to unplug the battery and re-plug it then try turning on the engine, which worked! It’s something I will never forget and thanks to that I was more careful while driving manual.

What to look for when buying a used car

Lead Paragraph- There can be a lot of things that can go wrong that you may not notice when buying your used car. We’re going to make sure that it doesn’t happen!
Body: I’ve received many questions asking “What to look for when buying a used car” and it’s time to post it here on this blog. There are plenty of things that can go wrong when you’re buying a used car. A few things that you want to look for is ensuring that the car is in proper form, this means that you should look at the car at a ground level to ensure that there is nothing wrong with the tires or anything sagging on the car. Second, you want to look at the paint job of the car. There’s nothing worse than purchasing a car and when you get home you realize that there are plenty of scratches on the door, or at the bottom of the car. Also look for dents and rust, they can be very difficult to find at times. This one is very important and often overlooked. Always look under the hood for any indication of damage, rust or dents. That can be a big sign that this car wasn’t taken care of properly by its previous owner, also try to bring a friend or family along that knows a lot about cars so he/she can assist you in finding damages with the engine or the car itself. Also ensure that the air conditioning is working, I’ve heard plenty of stories where the air conditioner stops working after purchasing it so be very careful of that. Make sure you check the odometer for the mileage on the car, sometimes the previous owner can try to make the car sound more appealing by saying the mileage is lower than it actually is.  Lastly always try to read used car reviews online on the car that you’re purchasing to see how long the car can last and how expensive repairs for it can be.

Has anything bad happen to you when you purchased your used car?
